The Story of Jesus
Jesus is regarded as being one of the most humble people to have walked on the planet. He provided salvation to those who believed in peace and love, and was known to cure the sick of various diseases. The interesting thing about Jesus was that he forgave his enemies, and asked God not to punish them. Jesus did so much for his community, yet he was tortured and hung by the people of Ancient Rome, simply because he claimed to be the messiah, which was not accepted by the Jewish community. He wasn’t harming anybody by claiming to be the messiah, in fact he never laid a finger on a human, but instead he helped them out and healed them. Such is the case in Matthew 14:13-21 when Jesus feeds a crowd of over 5,000 people with only two fish and five loaves of bread. A parallel can be drawn between Prometheus and Jesus, as Prometheus was killed for bringing fire to the humans, and Jesus was killed for bringing salvation to the humans. Although Jesus was killed by Pontius Pilate the spirit of Jesus lives on in the form of Christianity.
